Though classifying financial objectives as first priority, DTK Consulting is highly aware of balancing the achievement of other objectives, one of them is social responsibility. That is the reason the company has participated in the Business Mentoring Programme.
DTK Consulting - a Mentor in Business Mentoring Programme
Business Mentoring Programme (BMP) is one of the components of the project “Youth Employment in Vietnam” run by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) under support of the ILO - Bureau for Employers’ Activities (ACT/EMP).
The purpose of the BMP is to encourage experienced foreign managers, international corporations and/or successful Vietnamese entrepreneurs as a mentor to help Vietnamese young entrepreneurs, as mentees, to deal with issues/problems regarding their business, through which contributing to promoting youth employment in Vietnam.
Taking social responsibility as an important aspect of the business, DTK Consulting has registered to be a Mentor in this programme and got the approval from Bureau for Employers’ Activities - VCCI. The main area in which DTK Consulting will share experience with the Mentees is Human Resource Management. In addition to this, based on its own experience, DTK Consulting will also be ready to share practical lessons with the Mentees in other fields like Marketing, PR, IT and Communication in the business settings.
On 27 August 2008, Bureau for Employers’ Activities – VCCI launched the Business Mentoring Programme. The ceremony was held in Trade Union Hotel, 14 Tran Binh Trong, Hanoi. Mr Dao Trong Khang, Director of DTK Consulting, has participated in the ceremony and had a speech. Within the project coordination, DTK Consulting will actively involve in relevant events and proactively work with the mentees to contribute to the success of this Business Mentoring Programme.
Mentoring activities will be undertaken via field experience sharing/exchange meetings. The meetings will be carried out once a month.

DTK Consulting attending BEA’s workshop in Da Nang 8-10 September 2008
On 8th to 10th September 2008, Bureau for Employers’ Activities (BEA) – VCCI will hold a Workshop on sharing experience on activities of employers’ representatives, serving members of Employers’ Councils in 4 provinces Ha Tay (former), Nghe An, Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa. The workshop venue is Tourane Hotel, Da Nang.
Participants are coming also from MOLISA, ILO, Vietnam Trade Union, and local organisations and enterprises.
The focus of Day 1 will be labour relations and capacity of employers’ representatives.
Mr Dao Trong Khang, DTK Consulting’s Director, will attend the workshop (Day 1) in order to have an overview update on the labour relations status in Vietnam. At the same time, as DTK Consulting has been involved as the HR Consultant in the construction of the website www.vnemployers.com.vn, being delegated by Mr Phung Quang Huy - BEA’s Director, Mr Khang will introduce the website features and functions to workshop participants. It is aimed that the BEA website will contribute significantly in strengthening the knowledge and capacities of employers’ representatives in Vietnam. As an HR consulting company and the official member of VCCI, DTK Consulting will have opportunities to contribute to this process.
